Explosion outside my window

This will give you an idea of what I saw out my window- I found THIS VIDEO on YouTube. This lasts a lot longer, but watch till the explosion near the end, I think that's similar to what I heard and saw.

that is crazy! do they know it was a power line for sure? i'm glad nothing worse happened and everyone is ok.

Yea we are sure it was the power line- the company sent guys out to cut the trees down today. We have chains out there that keep the (metal) fence closed, and they were actually welded to the fence from it! I can't figure out how it would have traveled all the way over to my neighbor's house, but it did somehow.
